This piece was inspired by a fragment of a sampler I saw, where just the part of it was framed. It looked so cute, and I love the idea of impermanence and the wear-and-tear of centuries. Autumn Gathers is the next in the series that started with Summer Blooms. It has beautiful fall flowers, pumpkins, and all the autumn feels.

Pattern is stitched on 36 count Ale by Picture This Plus using a variety of thread threads. Stitch Count: 145 x 125. Finished Size: approx 8.1" x 6.9".

Second in the series of sampler fragments. Each is meant to look incomplete, as often old samplers are cut or damaged over the centuries. Each sampler in the series will have a different edge "cut off." All will be the same size on the same fabric.

What could be better than spending time in The Strawberry Patch? This is a small sampler celebrating the perfect strawberry.
