This quilt is made using half square triangle blocks and rectangles. We love how these simple traditional blocks come together to create a beautiful but simple floral bouquet. You can almost smell the flowers as you snuggle under this quilt!

This pattern uses a Jelly Roll (or 2 1/2" pieces) to construct the flowers and leaves. They are arranged in a section and then 4 sections are repeated and rotated around the open center. Wind Drifter uses half square triangles to form pinwheels of motion, while also letting some big prints show off in the larger arrow forms. This is a Fat Eighth friendly pattern that makes either a 65" square large quilt or 32 3/4" square wall/table topper small quilt. Fat Eighths should measure 9 x 21" (17 are needed for large, 9 are needed for small) and add background fabric.
