Model stitched one over two on 32 Ct. Natural Linen from Wichelt using Gloriana threads with DMC and Weeks Dye Works conversions. Stitch count is 160 x 72.
The idea for this design came from one of my grandmother's sayings. When we would be heading out the door without our hats and mittens, she would politely remind us to "wear your woolies!" The finished piece will be the highlight of any Holiday decor.

Number Three is the home of my great-great grandmother. She became one of my stitching inspirations when I found a little snippet of linen with the tiniest cross stitches when I was a girl. How did she ever see to stitch them? It is tucked under the model in the image.
Number Four features my great grandmother's home. She was a quilter, hence the quilts laying over the fence in the design. I am lucky to have one of her quilts, which I cherish. The model is lying on one of her hand-stitched squares in the image.
