Living in Texas, where fall doesn't really show up, I have fond memories of my time living in Michigan where fall actually brought a change of seasons. This was created with those memories and feelings in mind. "Autumn, Crisp blustery days and cozy snuggly nights"
Fall is such a fun time of year and it includes so many things I love. This is my fun take on the transition that happens as we move through the season. In designing this piece, I wanted something can stay up all the way thru Halloween.
Pattern is stitched on 46ct Topaz by Fiber on a Whim using Gentle Arts, Weeks Dye Works, and DMC threads. Stitch Count 375 x 100.
Christmas is my favorite time of year! Especially singing and playing carols. While this isn't really a Christmas carol, it is one of those songs I look forward to playing throughout the holiday season.

One of my favorite summer flowers is the sunflower. They are just so bright and cheerful! This is my interpretation of sunflowers as a biscornu.
