A funky and unusual yearly band sampler has sort of become a tradition now, but after two years of diagonals, it was time for something new, and Esther's Waves was born.

I get a lot of requests to do smaller designs. I do try, but often the designs grow with my imagination. However, on occasion I force myself to behave! Sweet Hearts is a fun little monochrome design done mostly in cross stitch with a few little Rhodes stitches thrown in for some texture.
You know how much I like diagonals. It was inevitable this would happen someday. This actually started as a stocking, but I figured there would be those who didn't care about stockings but wanted to stitch it as a sampler, so I took the liberty of getting ahead of the request. :)
