Each block is an appliqued floral bouquet containing two floral elements, a neutral colored handle wrap, and background piecing. The background is Moda's mochi linen dots in putty, and the background accent is the mochi linen in natural. It's so nice to work with. It's a linen-cotton blend, so it gives you the texture of the linen without the price hike that can come with it.
Parquet is a type of floor that is composed of blocks set in a geometric pattern, which sounds kind of like a quilt don't you think? Our Parquet has space for focus prints to dance across the floor while a fun sashing creates a zig zagging secondary pattern.
Frida Kahlo was not only an astounding artist, she was a snappy dresser. Our Frida is based off of a sweater that the original Ms. Kahlo wore. From knitwear to quilting, it's definitely all Frida.
