Helen's Drum is a pin drum pattern using key elements of our Helen Monro sampler.

The model was stitched on 40 ct linen using DMC floss, a conversion to Au Ver a Soie (Soie D'Alger) is also provided in the chart. Stitch count is 226 x 60. Finished size is 11.3" x 3".

All that is known of the sampler are the stitcher's initial - ES. The sampler appears to be English and from around the mid 19th Century.

The model was stitched over 2 threads on 36 Ct. Light Sand linen with Needlepoint Inc Silks (DMC conversions are provided). Stitch Count: 114W x 164H. Finished Size: 5 5/8" x 8 1/8"

Finished size: 12 3/4" x 17 3/8" Stitches used: cross stitch, satin stitch, queen stitch, double running stitch, outline stitch, chain stitch, and stitching over one. Stitch diagrams are included.
