Pattern for a 51" x 64" Quilt

A basket sampler quilt inspired by fabrics and design from the 1830's to 1840's. The original quilt is pieced from the Sarah's Story Collection by Betsy Chutchian for Moda fabrics. Named for Sarah Hale, an author, poet and editor of Godey's Lady's Book for 40 years.

Quilt design features star blocks which are pieced and an applique border, featuring a serpentine vine of leaves.

Three Size options: 47 x 57, 57 x 67, 88 x 99.

Make one 58" x 71" pieced and appliqued quilt OR five small quilts! Use your fat quarters and fat eighths (or scraps), with the addition of a few fabrics for borders and binding.

Round About quilt pattern by Julia Hale for Bits'n Pieces uses the Elinore's Endeavor fabric for Moda. Basic rotary cutting, machine piecing, and applique skills are required.
