Summer Biscornu is the second in a four part seasonal Biscornu series. Celebrate Summer with beautiful blossoms and trellises denoting all things beautiful about summer.

Pattern is stitched on 36 ct linen using Soie d'Alger and Belle Soie threads with DMC conversion. Stitch count is 65 x 65 each side. Finished size is 3.61" x 3.61".

The August House is stitched on 28 count Wichelt Country French Cafe Linen with DMC floss and The Gentle Arts Sampler Threads. The stitch count is 120 wide by 45 high. Finished size is 8.57" x 3.21". The sample stitch piece was finished as a crafty framed piece using fabric, giant rick rack, ribbon, a button and a raw wood frame.

The August Dog cross stitch design is part of the Dog Days Series by Happiness Is HeartMade. This month's design has Dog enjoying a slice of summer watermelon on a picnic table. The design also includes a picnic basket, ladybugs, hearts, and flowers.
