It is a small wool snowman mounted on a piece of 36 count Delft linen by Weeks Dye Works. Stitched snowflakes dance around the dapper fellow, and a hand crocheted scarf, keeps him warm. This is a complete kit, including linen, floss, wool, and a hand-crocheted scarf (colors will vary). Finishing instructions are also included. Final trim and finishing is up to the stitcher.

This antique sampler immediately caught my eye simply because it was stitched in purple, my favorite color. There is something about a sampler worked in one solid color that I find so beautiful and timeless.

Keeping in mind the time of year, I chose fall colors for the flowers in this basket. However, it is a design that lends itself to any season by changing up the flower colors!

Model stitched on 32 count Cafe Mocha Country French linen from Wichelt using 7 Weeks Dye Works threads. Stitch count: 131 x 108 and the finished size is 8.19" x 6.75".
