Galaxy by Fig Tree Quilts is one of those quilt patterns that you will come back to over and over again. Both because of its versatility and its ease. It is a wonderful stash buster, looks fabulous in any color family, can be easily adapted to be smaller or larger and has that wonderful sparkling feel of a scrappy cream background.
This striking large scale block really lends itself to some great color exploration and work equally well with solids as it would small prints or even larger prints sprinkled in.
The moment this collection started to come together in my head and I saw the first set of swatches, I knew I wanted to create something with chintz dishes and mason jars.
