New Wildflowers Cross Stitch

This little flower-shaped pincushion was inspired by some cotton fabric used for a project bag. I loved the color combination and knew it would work perfectly for a cross stitch design.

Model stitched on 32 count Zweigart Raw linen using 9 DMC threads. Pattern comes with the yellow button. Stitch count: 80 x 80 and the finished size is 5" x 5'.

Keeping in mind the time of year, I chose fall colors for the flowers in this basket. However, it is a design that lends itself to any season by changing up the flower colors!

Model stitched on 32 count Cafe Mocha Country French linen from Wichelt using 7 Weeks Dye Works threads. Stitch count: 131 x 108 and the finished size is 8.19" x 6.75".

Pattern is stitched on 16 ct aida using 12wt. Sulky cotton petites and cotton blendables. Stitch count is 125 x 125. Finished size is 7.8" x 7.8".
