The stocking was just stitched on 40-Count Thornfield Linen from Needle and Flax using Needlepoint Silks. Stitch count for the stocking is 172 x 447. Finished size is 8 1/2" x 22 1/4". Stitch count for the sampler is 83 x 446. Finished size is 4 1/8" x 22 1/4".

This design is a reproduction of an antique theorem from the early 1800's I found in Pennsylvania. I found it at an outdoor antique market in 20-degree weather with crazy cold winds blowing!
