Second in the series of sampler fragments. Each is meant to look incomplete, as often old samplers are cut or damaged over the centuries. Each sampler in the series will have a different edge "cut off." All will be the same size on the same fabric.
This piece was inspired by a fragment of a sampler I saw, where just the part of it was framed. It looked so cute, and I love the idea of impermanence and the wear-and-tear of centuries.
