National Female Model School Sampler - Kildare Place, Dublin circa 1820

This pattern has 1 specialty stitch - the Satin Stitch. And the small alphabet at the top and the small letters at the bottom are stitched over 1 thread of linen. Pattern is stitched on 46 ct. linen with 100/3 Au Ver a Soie silk floss. The stitch count is 96 x 147 and the finished size is 4.17" x 6.39".

Mary is a very fun piece to stitch. The floweres and leaves are filled in with Stem Stitch and the basket is stitched in two layers.

Pattern is stitched on 32 ct Vintage Autumn Gold from Lakeside Linens using NPI threads. Stitch count is 105 x 138. Finished size is 6.5" x 8.5".
Love the saturated colors in this pieceit looks so royal to me!
