Celebrate the 4th of July parade in your own home with this Americana 38" x 59" wall quilt featuring "All American" by Deb Strain for Moda. There is a bit of applique on this but it is done with fusible web so it is easy peasy.
My Stars & Blooms quilt pattern includes instructions to make a 70" x 96" twin quilt and a 70" square lap quilt or picnic throw. The pattern features Deb Strain's newest Americana fabric line for Moda Fabrics called Red, White and Bloom. Instead of plain stripes, my version of the flag shows rows of red tulips.
Model stitched over 2 threads on 28 Ct. Monaco (dyed with coffee) with Classic Colorworks and DMC floss (or all DMC 3865, 3768, ecru, 3347, 729, 304, 950, 3862, 310, 3778). Stitch Count: 84x112. Finished size: 6" x 8".
