"Merry Pinwheels" is an original quilt pattern by Amber Johnson of Gigi's Thimble Quilt patterns. This pattern includes instructions for 5 quilt sizes - Crib, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King. It's perfect for precut 2.5" x WOF (width of fabric) bright strips. Each strip will make 2 blocks. For more variety, use more 2.5" x WOF strips.

Inspired by a vintage curved Dresden Plate quilt which was a wedding gift for my in-laws in the '60s, this quilt pattern makes the old new again. This unique quilt is made with a combination of machine-sewing and appliqu. There are 3 size options included with the pattern: baby, throw and bed.
