Winter Biscornu is the fourth and final part of the seasonal Biscornu series. Celebrate winter with my rendition of winter decked in Poinsettias, evergreen trees and snowflakes sampler style.
Pattern is stitched on 36 count linen. The stitch count is 65 x 65 each side. Finished size is 3.6" x 3.6" for each side

Model stitched on 32 Ct. Creme Brulee by R&R Reproductions with Classic Colorworks floss. Stitch Count: 57W x 58H. Finished size is 3.56 in wide X 3.63 in high.
Model stitched on 18 Ct. Anne Cloth prefinished Christmas Pillow cut (Item #ACXMPILLOW) over one and using a 9x9 muslin Pillow form to fill the pillow sham. Stitched using DMC floss, Threadworx, Weeks Dye Works, and Mill Hill beads. Stitch count 77x77.
Model stitched one over two on 36 Ct. Legacy using Gloriana Silk and Belle Soie (or all DMC floss 3816, 3346/3347, 814, 935, B5200, 680/729, 321/816, 3364/3347, 3021/3787, 3865/Ecru). Specialty Stitch Used: Satin Stitch. Stitch Count: 130 x 158. Design Size: 7" x 9"

For this designer: I really wanted to capture one of my favorite seasonal blooms in a biscornu format. There's a lot of stitching in this, but the results came out just the way I'd hoped and I love the dramatic effect.
