Live Simply - a companion piece to America, the Beautiful. The date on the piece is when the first Quakers reached our shores.

The sampler uses a mix of Classic Colorworks, Gentle Arts, and Weeks Dye Works. It is stitched on a beautiful piece of 40 count linen. The stitch count is 197 x 150 and the finished size is 9.85" x 7.5".

This modern cross stitch pattern features a dark autumn night in the forest. A lantern lights up its surroundings of acorns, mushrooms, and pine needles. Fireflies float around it in an ethereal fashion leaving behind delicate trails created with textured blackwork stitching.

My two favorite topics for designs - patriotic and halloween. My mom gave me a wooden patriotic lighthouse and it inspired this design. It was stitched on 46 ct. linen in the color Betsy from Hometown Fibers. Sullivans threads were used with DMC equivalents provided. Stitch count: 85 W x 95 H and the finished size is 3.7" x 4.13".

This fun Halloween themed pattern features black cats and witch's broomsticks with the words "When Witches go riding and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers tis near Halloween".

Stitched on 18 ct. Witch's Brew by Lapin Loops using Sulky floss. The stitch count is 70 x 70 and the finished size is 3.89" x 3.89".

While at first glance this may seem like a geometrical abstract design, it is actually something very different: a monogram that features all 26 letters of the alphabet. This pattern was inspired by an actual monogram found in a book from 1881.
