This beautifully embellished star features a collection of traditional Quaker motifs stitched in shades of green, with a classic Christmas greeting in the center.
Stitched with DMC thread on 36 ct "linen" colored linen from Weeks Dye Works. Stitch Count: 140 x 136 and the finished size is 7.78" x 7.56".
I couldn't resist the urge to create another Quaker Stocking after the enthusiasm I saw for my Quaker Christmas Stocking! This new piece uses the exact same linen and silks as the Christmas stocking.
It is stitched on 40-Count Wheat linen from Fiber on a Whim using Needlepoint Silks. Stitch count is 173 x 447. Finished size is 8.65" x 22.35".
