I couldn't resist the urge to create another Quaker Stocking after the enthusiasm I saw for my Quaker Christmas Stocking! This new piece uses the exact same linen and silks as the Christmas stocking.
It is stitched on 40-Count Wheat linen from Fiber on a Whim using Needlepoint Silks. Stitch count is 173 x 447. Finished size is 8.65" x 22.35".
This pattern was my chosen blessing sampler to stitch for 2025. (Traditionally, finishing blessing samplers by the end of the month of January is thought to bring blessings to your home/stitching). Winter Folk is the final design in the Four Seasons Folk series. Thank you for coming on this seasonal journey with me. We end the series with paper whites, pine cones, frosty forests & 3 new specialty stitches.
