My Sampler Seasons series was very popular, and the response to it blew me away! I thought I would add on to the series with some holiday versions, so the first will be Halloween.

Pattern is stitched on 36 count Early Halloween by xJu Design using Weeks Dye Works threads. Stitch Count: 147 x 172.

Cross stitch pattern from Homespun Samplar featuring a sampler with an Irish prayer: "May those who love you, love you and those who don't, may God turn there heart and if he can not, turn their ankle so you will know them by their limp"!

Pattern is stitched on 32 ct Linen using DMC threads. Stitch count is 207 x 167. Finished size is 12.94" x 10.44".

Armande stitched her sampler from 1888 to 1891, it is actually very finely stitched and the original measures only 37 cm x 34 cm (14.6 inch x 13.4 inch). Multiple motifs are inserted among the alphabets. Stitch count is 491 x 439.

A skipjack boat used for oyster harvesting in the Chesapeake Bay. The sails are adorned with quilt block motifs. A traditional alphabet and numbers are in the background.
