A great border fabric can also work inside a quilt. Or pick a great focus fabric. Cover quilt is shown in Chateau De Chantilly by French General by Moda Fabrics. Project Size: 74 1/2" x 80 1/2"
Note from the designer: We thought it fitting to name a quilt for Bekah and her mom Sharon (Roses of Sharon- DLL 211) and use the same fabric group, Antoinette by French General by Moda Fabric. Bekah's Bouquet measures 70 1/2" x 76 1/2" and will go together so quickly. Fast and fun and would look wonderful in any beautiful fabric.

Add a real twist to your Wedge Star projects by cutting diamonds from pieced fabric strips. Your stars will spin either clockwise or counter clockwise and can be varied in oodles of ways. This is a fun next step in creating Wedge Star quilts. The strip sizes in the chart come very close to dividing the diamonds in two equal size strips for a simple Twisted Star.
We love fancy diamonds and bet you do too, so thought we would add them to our Star 60 units. You can make this variation in 17 unit sizes, from 2" up to 18" in 1" increments. If you are making those units into stars, that would be 4" to 36" stars in 2" increments. This technique is a bit of a challenge but what a result!
Time to add some spin to your Star 60 units. With our process and your Star 60 tool, you will be able to strip piece and oversize the units to increase your speed, accuracy, and enjoyment when making this star variation.
We love using this simple unit to add additional interest to Star 60 designs. This is a great, easy to construct, basic unit that we are using more and more as we continue to work with the Star 60 tool. The unit you make with this technique sheet is sized the same way as the Star 60 unit, so if you want your Capped 60 unit to match up with a 5" Star 60 unit, you'd make a 5" Capped 60 unit.
Our Quad 60 Technique Sheet, a companion for the Star 60 tool, will add a fun new triangular unit to your bag of 60 piecework tricks! Each diamond is made up of two triangles, so when you add the side triangles you have four triangles in the unit. Now that's sure to add some sizzle to your designs!... Read more
If you love jazzing up your stars as much as we do, this is one that you're not going to want to skip! The Framed 60 Technique Sheet allows you to create a Star 60 unit with a contrasting band of color added around the outside edge of the diamond. Sew six together and you will get a beautiful framed... Read more
From the designer, my daughter, Haley: Growing up in Vermont, my favorite sign of spring was snowdrop flowers popping out from under the snow. I always found the dichotomy between their delicate looks and their hearty resistance to the bitter cold of the Northeastern winters particularly striking.... Read more
