JBW Designs presents this collection of 20 ornaments, some of which are re-released from out of print patterns, and others that are new and some were used in classes and in magazines - this is a spiral bound booklet.
Patterns are stitched on the fabric of your choice using DMC threads. Stitch count and finished sizes vary.
The original sampler was stitched in 1812 in Troy, N.Y. The reproduction model was stitched on an Antique White #28 linen over one thread. The stitch count is: 80 W x 109 H and the finished size over one is: 2.8" W x 3.8" H. The following colors were used: Weeks Dye Works - Kentucky Bluegrass and Verdigris, and Hickory Sticks and Tiny Vine from Classic Colorworks.
Three models are pictured using this design. The stitch count is: 196 W x 57 H.
The model stitched in red on white: #36 Edinburgh linen; Winter Moon. Stitched over two; finished size: 11" W x 3" H. Stitched in Ribbon Red from Classic Colorworks.
The models were all stitched on a #32 Antique White Belfast linen. The finished size of each one is approximately 1.9" W x 2.6" H. DMC fibers were used along with a number of Mill Hill beads: #00557, #40332 and #42043. The stitch count is approximately 30 W x 42 H for each ornament.
The heart tree was stitched on a #32 Antique White Belfast over two threads, and on a #28 Antique White Lugana over one thread. the cornucopia tree was stitched on a #32 Belfast linen/Winter Moon, and over one on the #28 Lugana. The stitch count is 33 W x 41 H for the hearts and 27 W x 40 H for the cornucopia tree. DMC fibers were used.
