from United States on 11/16/2025 - Soie d Alger Tigre beautiful sheen and silky soft I gave this 4 stars because the thread fluffs on the ends making it harder to use than other fibers. However, it gives better coverage than some other silk threads and is very silky soft and shiny. Tigre is also a lovely color. It's the thread called for in a French reproduction pattern so I'm using it.

Au Ver a Soie, Soie Perlee is a twisted 3 ply filament silk with 16 meter spools.
