5 stars out of 5 from United States Tiny United States flag on 07/26/2025 - Big Pattern
It's a pretty large pattern. I know a lot of people have their complaints about the difficulty reading the pattern, but it's really not that bad. It just takes a little adjustment. It would be much better if there was no color in the pattern, but the people who design Bella Filipina's don't really care. So, either deal with it, or don't buy the pattern.

2 stars out of 5 from United States Tiny United States flag on 03/21/2023 - I really wanted to like this
At this point I'm almost 90% done with this pattern and it's been a struggle the entire time. I've done Mirabilia's, I've done lavender and lace, so I'm no rookie when it comes to complex patterns. But this was a struggle. It seems like the author took a picture and ran it through a pattern converter without any editing or checking. Many of the colors look identical and provide no depth to the design(greens in the tail). Some colors are too extreme and provide a cartoonish contrast (pinks and purples in the hair). The finished image posted is just a computer rendering and not an actual piece stitched. The krenik sizes are too big. I stitched and ripped out the water lillies 3 times before I replaced them with standard colors.

2 stars out of 5 from United States Tiny United States flag on 07/29/2020 - Beautiful piece, awful pattern
This piece will probably work up really nice but if you are looking into this designer, BE WARNED the pattern is pretty much awful. 1. Symbols are WAY too small, and some are in color. So in order to get a "working copy," you will have to enlarge probably by at least 150-175% and in addition, your copy will need to be a color copy. Black and white copy will not do the trick. 2. Backstitching is marked right on the same pattern, and so there are several places where you can't tell what cross-stitch color it is, because the marks for the backstitching obscure / make it unreadable. 3. Pattern calls for Kreinik Braid, both #4 and #8 ... and if you are using 16/32 count to stitch, that size is going to be way too big. I would suggest a Rainbow Gallery Petite Treasure braid substitution. All in all, I feel like I paid ~$20.00 for a pattern that I will never stitch. I haven't thrown the pattern away yet, because I'm still deciding. But probably I'm just going to throw the pattern away. There are so many other designers that have easy/understandable/read-able patterns which are a joy to stitch that I'm probably not going to waste time stitching a project where the pattern is so irritating.
