These are the perfect shape for cross stitch - not too sharp, but sharp enough to work through fabric and other threads. They are smooth and, while they cost more than DMC, they last longer before corrosion.

Been stitching for over 40 years either the needle holes are getting smaller or my eyes are. Decided to try the size 22 after using 24 & 28 for years. Issued solved. Bonus arthritic fingers can hold needles a bit better. Got 3 projects completed with the first needle, and it is showing no signs of wear or burring. I'm impressed.

These needles are a joy to use. They thread easily and glide through the fabric. This is the only brand that I buy since I first tried them. Don't waste your money on inferior needles.
