Twin Pointed Quick Stitch hand sewing needles are a revolutionary concept in Tapestry and Cross Stitch. Now you can stitch faster than ever: Using a hands-free frame, keep one hand above your work and one hand below at all times. Stitch straight up and down through your fabric without turning the needle around, looping a thread over a finger if necessary to keep it taut and to prevent twisting. Be sure to hold the needle close to but NOT ON the eye itself.
from United States on 09/18/2023 - Great addition These work great for xstitch, but it does tend to wear down the thread at the needle's eye area so I made my threads shorter to reduce waste.
from United States on 09/05/2022 - Useless This seemed like such a brilliant idea, especially since I work my cross stitch from both sides (left hand under, right hand on top). Passing the needle back and forth without having to flip it? What a concept! BUT, it doesn't work out that way. Needle is long and awkward, thread has to be passed along with the length of the needle, and most of all - it's no faster or more efficient than a regular needle changing direction at the end of the "stroke". I'm not sorry I tried these needles, and they are of usual John James high quality, but they just don't work. YMMV, of course.
from United States on 02/14/2018 - Love Them, But.... They take some getting used to. Floss will still twist a bit, but I find I can stitch a little quicker. Also, you cannot use as much of the strand as youre used to because you need more clearance for the needle. Its not a great deal of floss you lose, but there still is some.
from United States on 11/22/2017 - Twin Pointed Quick Stitch Needles I tried the 26 needle. It was very..bendy. I always felt like the needle was about to break. I tried it twice...and then haven't used it since.
from United States on 07/28/2017 - I am hooked on these needles...cannot stitch without them...!!! John James is my favorite brand of needle...the eyes hold up for me better than any brand....with other brands the eyes break too quickly...these needles hold up for lots of stitching...

from United States on 07/12/2017 - Shreds floss These do make very nice, even stitches but they shred the floss. My floss kept breaking before I could get to the end of the stand.
from United States on 10/20/2014 - Twin Pointed needles I have been using my regular needles as twin-pointed for some time because my floss seems to twist a lot. I thought the real twin-pointed needles would be a lot better. They do the same thing but they are longer that petite regular needles. I probably will continue to use my petite regular needles as if they were twin-pointed.
