About the Sampler: No name or year appears on this beautiful sampler to offer a clue about the maker. It is adorned with numerous Christian motifs and symbols. The sampler is representative of an Italian sampler style, as evidenced by the existence of other similar Italian samplers, done in rows of alphabets, numbers and spot motifs in red thread on coarse loosely woven linen.

Pattern is stitched on 46 count Light Hazelnut by XJude Designs using Au Ver a Soie 100/3 silk or DMC or Gentle Art. Stitch Count: 292 wide x 227 high. Design Size: 12.70 inches wide x 9.87 inches high
