I ordered 2 .. I already have 3 of these at home; however, needed more storage space for additional floss .. and these are terrific for that purpose!

I ordered 3 of these; as my embroidery projects expand, I need more storage for the floss.

Great rings. They open very easily, but stay shut like they're supposed to.

Works well to hold flossaway bags. The clasp is a bit rough, but not too bad

5 stars out of 5 from United States Tiny United States flag on 07/25/2015 - A great cheep system to help organize floss!
these are the best. I use floss bags and hold them all together with these rings. Get a bigger size than you think! They may hold alot of bags but if you need to get just one off the ring it can be very difficult as many others will fall off also. Honestly these are great! Just do not skimp on the size! The 3 inch ones are what I use and I have several bunches held together by them.

I wish I had purchased a few more. I am using this to organize my non-DMC floss in the floss bags. This ring is nice and heavy duty - much better than the other smaller ones. I initially thought it was too big - but a wise person should only fill it up about 1/2 way to be able to take them off the ring and put the floss they need with a project. Order at least 1 more than you think you will need - honest!

I do counted cross stitch everyday and I have hundreds of numbered floss. I learned a long time ago, that, for me, I needed to save all the floss in an orderly manner and wanted it at my finger tips. I use the "Floss A Way" 5"x3" bags that have a pre-punched hole in the corner and a place for you to write the number of the floss in the bag, on the bag, then I place my left-over floss in each one. Over time, I find that when I start a new counted cross stitch, I rarely have to by all of the floss required. I have enough rings to separate my numbers i.e. white to 200, 201-299, etc., I have all the rings hanging in my sewing room and it's not only convenient, it looks pretty as well. Make sure you have an extra ring, though, so you can take from all your rings and place on one single ring for your next project!Denise ChukkerFortuna, California
