The lovely greens and purples from palest lavender to smokey plums are perfect for florals while the gray and brown shades will work well for animal pictures. This tin is really just a "showpiece", since the new colors are available by the skein already, but if you can splurge, it is a neat little piece of DMC "history." And 123 Stitch has the cheapest price BY FAR for it.

Pack the hoop separately if you are going to be travelling with the tin. It came quickly, packaged well and undamaged. Very pleased.
