Thought I’d try a wood hoop for a change (I normally use the plastic Susan Bates) and unfortunately it doesn’t hold the fabric as taught as I’d like. It would make a nice “decorative” hoop for displaying needlework and seems high quality.

I have to stitch with a wooden hoop. No plastic. This is a wonderful hoop to use. Some wooden hoops are very flimsy and hard to handle but this one is sturdy and easy to hold! I know I will be ordering more!
