from United States on 06/06/2022 - Printed blue mottling This is a stiffer type of aida with the pattern printed on one side. The mottling is not as natural looking as a hand dyed fabric, but I think once you stitched on it it would look fine. It has a sky look to it, with darker and lighter blues like a cloudy patchy sky. The preview picture on this page does not refect the color at all, it is a very mottled blue color.

I thought this picture made the Aida look like a good replacement for a pattern that called for Smokey pearl linen. No. I still like it though. It feels really good and is so lovely to stitch on! Of all the fabric and Aida Ive ordered, this one is my favorite. I just wish the color shown truer.
