Size: 17" x 19"
Item: 123-7188Z
Type: Cross Stitch Fabric

Stormy sea is a blue grey overdye effect. Hand Dyed mottled effect. HD fabrics have been surface treated with digital textile printing using pigment inks to give a hand dyed effect. More consistent in color and pattern than hand dyed. One side is in color; the reverse side is white. Colorfast and lightfast in all but the most vibrant colors, such as orange. May be hand washed in cool water as recommended for needlework. From Fabric Flair.
Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so feel free to contact us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

from Bulgaria on 06/04/2024 - Actual color is a much more intence bright blue.
123stitch service is always exemplary, but I only leave 3 stars because the fabric is not as described. It matches neither the photo, not the suggested dmc colors, but is a bright blue.I expect it is the manufacturer's fault, but I am still a bit disappointed.

Terrific fabric and lightly modeled for a special effect. Highly recommend it for the counted work project where there is sky/water involved.

from United States on 10/07/2015 - ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!
I loved this! I tried the hand-dyed linen that didn't have the digital textile printing using pigment inks to give the hand dyed effect, and I just didn't like that effect. I also like that this fabric is thicker than the hand-dyed linen, that fabric I could literally see through.
