This lovely pattern was a pleasure to stitch in every way. The colours are perfect and fitting for either gender. I appreciate the pattern having a Christian message and chose it particularly for that reason.

I’m currently working on this for my first great grandchild due in July. It’s very cute, but it uses all full cross stitches, and the outlines don’t follow the stitching. Sometimes the outline goes partially over a stitch, and sometimes there is blank space between the stitching and the outline. The cradle itself was fine, but the leaves, flowers and branches are all wonky in relation to the outlines. I’ve tried to make them look right with partial stitches where I can, but they really don’t come out looking like the pattern. Maybe they figure it won’t be noticeable from a distance and maybe it won’t, but I’m kinda nitpicky when it comes to stuff like this. I’ve never had a pattern that did that in the past. I just recently returned to cross stitch after about 20 years, so this was the first kit I have purchased from this designer. I don’t know if I would purchase another of this designer without looking really closely at it.

This the the second time I have ordered and made this birth announcement for my nephew! The proud parents LOVED the one I made for their first son and now I am doing another for their second son due in November. I used a darker blue for the birds and a brighter yellow so it would not be exactly like the first one. My nephew and his wife will again be thrilled!
