The model in blue was stitched on a #36 Antique White linen with one ply of floss over two threads. The stitch count is: 72 W x 68 H, and the finished size is approximately 4" round. It was mounted inside a metal clock from Hobby Lobby. The fiber used was a Weeks Dye Works in Periwinkle.
The red model was stitched on a #28 Antique White Cashel linen over one thread in Ribbon Red from Classic Colorworks. The finished size is 2 1/2" round. It was mounted on a wooden wreath from Hobby Lobby, and trimmed with Lady Dot Creates Pom Pom trim in the color Sizzle.

Third in the Air Mail series, welcome the European Goldfinch! This patriotic bird can match quite a few patriotic flags. Being an American, I was of course thinking of our red, white, and blue, so I find it a little humorous that this bird is European!
