from United States on 04/05/2023 - Very small pattern I love the pattern itself, but my problem is the size. The folded card might be 4x5. I had to make a photo copy to enlarge it to page size to see. It was not a half page folded like Plum Street patterns that unfold to a full page. This was tiny. For the price I was shocked! This was a disappointment because I could not read it as is. Just be aware if you order it. Like I said I like the pattern itself.

What makes this early Victorian English sampler so intriguing are the wonderfully naive figures of Adam, Eve and St. Michael flanking the Tree of Life. St. Michael's sword is drawn to slay the serpent, but he hardly looks formidable with his large feet and doughy body. Playskool-like Adam and Eve... Read more
Note from the designer: "The characteristic that readily identifies the origin of this sampler is the distinctive vine and rose border, configured such that a leaf on one side and a rosebud stem on the other give the illusion of a double vine.
