AK 1885 is a reproduction of an antique sampler. With this sampler, I decided to do something a little different and use The Gentle Arts Simply Wool Thread. I discovered that this is a wonderful fiber to work with. You do not need to separate the plies in this thread. Use it as it comes off the floss card. Because the wool thread is thicker than cotton floss, 32/16 ct fabric is the count most suitable. This sampler uses only 6 colors, so it's the perfect opportunity to give The Gentle Arts Simply Wool Threads a try!
