Note from designer: Colors of Mexico is an adaptation/reproduction of an antique Mexican sampler. I chose colors from both the back and the front of the sampler. This is a gorgeous, colorful, fun design with such a variety of borders and motifs that it is never boring. It also has a beautiful bargello section at the bottom. I have provided an alternate chart of just cross stitch for the bargello section for those who would prefer that or for those who want to stitch this on Aida. The model is stitched in Hand-dyed Fibers silk, and I also provided conversions to over-dyed cotton floss and DMC.

Pattern is stitched on 40 ct Saltbush by Fox and Rabbit Designs using Hand-dyed Fiber Silks. Stitch count is 291 x 300.
