I completed this pattern and really like the finished piece but...there is way too much back stitching for me. I am an experienced stitcher and enjoy patterns in which details are rendered in the shading of colors not with back stitching. In my opinion if a pattern uses 30 or more floss colors and still requires back stitching to render detail there is a design problem and I usually avoid the designer in the future.
