The stocking is stitched on 40-Count Hemingway from Needle and Flax.
Both versions of this design are charted for DMC threads, although a conversion to Needlepoint Silk is provided. Stitch count for stocking is 172 x 418. Finished size is 8 1/2" x 20 7/8". Sampler stitch count is 84 x 417. Finished size is 4 1/8" x 20 3/4".
This design was suggested by shop owner Marilyn after seeing our sampler Christmas Time! Our skating Santa can be stitched with the word "Joy" on his sack, or "Toys" since we include charting for both. Our model was stitched on 40-count Hemingway from Needle & Flax using DMC.
