Irises are one of my favorite flowers. As I lean towards purples and blues in general, perhaps this is not a surprise. "The sun shines when I'm with you." Model stitched one over two on 40 Ct. Cyprus Linen from Fiber on a Whim using Needlepoint Inc Silk, Classic Colorworks Belle Soie and Dinky Dyes. Stitch Count: 165W x 82H. Design Size: 8" x 4". Trimmed with Algae Chenille and backed with Blue Fescue Velveteen from Lady Dot Creates.

Model stitched on 40 count "Flagstone" linen from Lakeside linen using Weeks Dye Works, Classic Colorworks and DMC threads. The model is trimmed with "Robin's Egg" chenille an backed with "Blue Corn" velveteen from Lady Dot Creates. Stitch Count: 209W x 66H.
