Only a miniscule amount of fray when you first cut it so it's much easier to thread your needle with this than DMC Light Effects. It also isn't so likely to knot up while stitching.

I use this for writing, personalizing, and when adding ribbon to hang them on a tree.This thread looks so great just tied and then let the strings hang, as they curl by themselves! My daughter had commented that she couldn't see how I curled them and that she loved the kind of wild abandon they invoked! They come off the spool curly, so it's easy! Gives the ornaments a bit of whimsy!
