The thread I purchased was perfect for the glow in the dark effect but I made a mistake and purchased a #8 braid that is too thick to cross stitch. I should have bought the lesser thickness one. I bought that # 8 thinking it would give me more glow in the dark for my project. But the floss is much too thick to pass through the Aida and kept getting stuck and took me a long time to stitch. Had I bought the other #4 braid it would have gone more smoothly.

from United States on 08/17/2014 - A bit difficult to work with However necessary this was for my cross stitch project, it was a bit of a pain to work with. The best description I could give is it was like working with thick fishing line. It has that plastic feel and doesn't want to lay very smooth. I used it on perforated paper and found that it didn't create pretty little x's -
