100% linen. A beautiful hand dyed and washable fabric available in a variety of counts and colors. Lakeside linens are available in both "Regular" and "Vintage". The Regular version has minimal shading while the Vintage is more distressed. With the Vintage version there may be color separation due to the different properties of each dye used. As each piece of vintage is unique, the image should only be considered representative of what you will receive.

40 count is a delight on which to stitch, but the Light Examplar linen is lovely and more of a soft beige color that hints at a yellow undertone. Absolutely lovely and could be used on samplers of all types, as well as, your standard cross stitch piece. It is very neutral and doesn't steal the show piece.

I have used many colors and counts of linen from Lakeside Linens and have always been pleased with them. They are variegated so do not wash this fabric before or after stitching as it with change the look of it.
