Perfect patriotic sampler! I am having a hard time choosing between 14 count raw linen Aida and 14 count Putty Khaki. I don’t enjoy stitching on linen. The called for Classic Color works looks great on both fabrics. Hunny Bunny does stand out more on the Khaki but is nice on the Raw linen Aida too. They warn you about Hunny Bunny contrasting with your chosen fabric, if you are using a light linen. Hunny Bunny looks like the color of light linen. They suggest using Flax or Mocha linen, as an alternate choice.Another nice pattern from Little House Needleworks. As always, 123 Stitch takes great care, the patterns arrive in perfect condition.

I haven't started this yet, but I have always loved stitching any pattern from Little House Needleworks. I will do mine on a 14 count fabric since I can't see that well to stitch on linen. I will also use the DMC alternative floss, but it should still look as good as the picture. I do this most of the time and am always pleased with the finished piece. Little House Needlework patterns are very easy to read and I haven't done one yet that I didn't love. 123 Stitch is a great place to order cross sttich supplies from. I have been ordering from them for several years sicne there is no longer a local cross stitch shop. I have always been pleased with their service.
