While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

This kit comes with instructions for ALL letters of the alphabet. Don't let the "B" deter you from ordering for other initials!! Great kit.. although I ordered two, only one actually came with the magnet they say is included.

I do Christmas cross stitch for My Family every year. I found thiscross stitch the best because I can make it specific for each individual for thefirst time with their initial. Because I do 27 I was able to make a routine as towhen I do the different colors so it goes smoothly! I am glad You were able to give Me all I-needed!

I just completed two of these for my young granddaughters and I love the finished product. I have purchased small trees for each of them and stitch a few Mill Hill kits for them each Christmas.

Making these for my Granddaughters for Christmas. Instead if putting the hanging bead on the bottom I will be putting a guitar charm and a piano charm tp personalize the even more. They are very easy stitching and really pretty.
