Designer: Mill Hill
Manufacturer: Mill Hill
Item: MH20-8302
Type: Cross Stitch Kits

Kit Includes: Beads, Antique Brown Perforated Paper, needles, floss, chart and instructions. Size: 3.75" x 4.75"

While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:

1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.

2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.

3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.

All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

Fun to stitch. During this Covid and stuck at home due to health issues it is nice to have something quick and easy to make my days go quicker.

I have not started this yet but will be doing it very soon. I am doing this series for one of my grandsons. These kits are just great. I have lost count of how many I have done. Never tire of them.

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Mill Hill has done it again. This one completes the series. My grandson has been to these sites so he really is happy to receive them.
