Designer: Mill Hill
Manufacturer: Mill Hill
Item: MH20-8301
Type: Cross Stitch Kits

Kit Includes: Beads, Antique Brown Perforated Paper, needles, floss, chart and instructions. Size: 3.75" x 4.5"

While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:

1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.

2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.

3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.

All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

Love mill hill kits. Easy to follow patterns. Can’t wait to finish and hang on the tree.

I am doing this series for one of my grandsons who visited all of these parks this past summer. They are easy to do and look great when done.

This has been another fun and cute Santa to work on. He's not quite finished but will be soon. There is ONE MISTAKE in the pattern though. On the thread chart, this symbol says light brown. On the Santa picture pattern this symbol goes down the middle and across the bottom of Santa's coat which, in the photo, shows white or gray. Same goes for in the holly bush to the right of Santa. I am able to make my own adjustments, but it should be corrected for future customers. Thank you.
