Some areas have some backstitching, but there are alternative versions in full crosses included in the booklet. This pattern is suitable monochrome and is suitable to be stitched on any counted material (aida, linen, evenweave)

Model stitched over two on 46 ct. Straw with one strand Au Ver A Soie Silk from their D'Alger Range. There are also conversions for the Au Ver A soie 100.3 range together with DMC. Soie 100.3 #245 discontinued. Stitch count 201 x 246 and the finished size is 8.74" x 10.7".

Model stitched on either a 36/40 Ct. fabric of your choice. There are no partial stitches - design is suitable for stitching over one or on Aida fabric. You can stitch with either 11 Skeins of DMC or 8 skeins of Gloriana floss. For 2 strands on 28 count, this is approximately 29 skeins of DMC. Color of your choice. Stitch count 345x421.
